It was a relaxed and engaging session, I have experience in drawing but haven't done it regularly in years so the casual atmosphere was appreciated to make the activity more approachable. Instructor was friendly and very informative on techniques for building confidence in drawing and offered appropriate feedback and comments throughout the class. It was a very personable class that I enjoyed at lot!

I'm just a goofy lover of sharks and wanted to portray one in a whimsical setting. I decided on an old timey microphone as an unexpected prop for this painting. Acrylic on canvas.

I appliqu? second hand Jean jackets with samples from upholstery and drapery shops. I have made all kinds of designs, but this is my first interpretation of a famous work of art. Starry Night was my husband Jimmy?s favorite painting. When we saw it at MOMA, he almost cried. I made this as an homage to Jimmy and Van Gogh. Thank you for the opportunity to show my work to a wider audience. Jean

I was drawn to paint this little girl because of her expression. There is a shyness to her look but at the same time an intensity in her gaze that beckons me to come and join her in her world of imagination. I used an analogous palette of reds, oranges and purples. This is from a photo by Zoe Graham from Unsplash.

?Vortex of Wisdom" is an enigmatic tapestry of the cosmos, where a synthesis of art and mystical geometry invites the viewer into a realm beyond the mundane. This is no ordinary creation it is an arcane portal rendered through the meticulous strokes of airbrush on canvas, adorned with glimmering silver leaf and the sparkling allure of embedded crystals. The centerpiece, hair as ethereal as moonlight, glistens with the celestial touch of silver leaf, each strand a testament to otherworldly el

This is Lucy, one of our favorite family dogs. She is the sweetest pooch and loves to ride in the car, windows opened. She is in her glory as her ears catch the wind and almost smiles. I tried to capture her wonderful nature in this watercolor painting. I used very heavy pigment to give detail to her fur. I so love the many styles watercolor allows you to create. It is one of my favorite paintings because, I Love Lucy:)

This scene is from an early morning boat ride in New Hampshire - we had been here a couple of times over the last few years. It was so quiet and the water so still . The early morning fog had not lifted and people were still not stirring. I snapped a photo when I saw this scene with the colorful leaves framing the waiting boats. I knew I would paint this one day. It?s a 24 x 30 gallery wrapped oil painting. It can be seen at the Elizabethan Gallery.
